Job Summary

**Fairview Health Services** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Patient Care Supervisor** to join our dynamic team at MHealth Fairview Southdale Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Collaborate with Leadership**: Partner with the Manager/Director to supervise and lead day-to-day or shift-to-shift operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, values, and goals.
  • **Patient Care Coordination**: Assist in planning, leading, coordinating, and evaluating patient care activities, including staffing, resource management, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and financial management.
  • **Quality Improvement**: Collect and analyze quality data, applying process improvement methodology to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care.
  • **Change Management**: Assist with department change and act as a change agent in implementing system, procedure, and process changes.
  • **Staff Development**: Demonstrate skills and abilities in provision of patient care, ensuring unit protocols, benchmarks, and hospital procedures are initiated appropriately.
Requirements
  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is preferred.
  • **Experience**: Two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a formal or informal leadership role.
  • **License/Certification**: Licensed Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain a Minnesota nursing license at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • **Master's degree**: In nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • **Experience**: 2+ years of cardiac experience, critical care experience, or cath lab experience.
  • **Certification**: ANCC or AONL certification.
