Research Assistant Position:

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Description:

AmeriTech Staffing, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, testing, and analysis of elastomer materials.

This role involves:

  • Assisting in preparing elastomer samples for testing, including cutting, molding, and setting up equipment.
  • Conducting mechanical, chemical, and physical tests on elastomer materials to assess properties such as tensile strength, hardness, and temperature resistance.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate data in lab databases.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and performing basic maintenance on lab instruments as required.
  • Collaborating with engineers and scientists to meet quality standards and project timelines.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in chemistry, material science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a lab setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
