Product Manager - Payments

Photon is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our payment solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional partners, and ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Stakeholders to define scope and high-level requirements for payment integration.
  • Create user stories and product backlog items, ensuring they are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for payment capabilities, providing consultation to cross-functional partners.
  • Define and manage the implementation plan in partnership with Technical Program Managers.
  • Provide day-to-day support for the payment portfolio, including managing support inquiries and responding to user feedback.
  • Partner with User Experience teams to provide guidance and prioritization during the product development process.
  • Assist the product, engineering, and scrum team during regular ceremonies, ensuring the voice of the customer is represented.
  • Serve as project manager for small to medium initiatives, where no project manager is assigned.
  • Coordinate new and changed functionality with affected business groups to ensure seamless rollout of new capabilities.
  • Interact with external vendors in design, delivery, and support of payment capabilities.
  • Develop and report on objectives and key results, tracking and measuring into offerings.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience in product management, program management, or product ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in a related discipline, or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Proficiency with product management methodologies, including user research and product discovery.
  • Proficiency with software development methodology, including AGILE methods.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to facilitate user group meetings with stakeholders and drive agenda for a common solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management cross-divisionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with increased complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior product management experience with a team developing mobile applications for iOS devices.
  • Prior product management experience with a team developing applications for contact centers.
  • Prior product management experience with a team developing applications for payments or finance.
  • Prior airline industry experience.
  • Prior payment, financial, or similar experience.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
