The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and process rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment.
  • Perform general administrative tasks in support of the Rental team.
  • Provide exceptional customer satisfaction skills and build solid relationships with customers.
  • Utilize technical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Understand and practice effective sales techniques to promote rental services.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
  • Work additional hours to meet customer and business demands.
  • Multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the equipment rental industry and knowledge of equipment applications preferred.
  • Self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn Caterpillar's Dealer Business System (DBS) and related rental software programs.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment and promote a positive customer experience.
