Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Leader to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing programs that promote physical activity and wellness among Club members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement diverse programming to ensure all members participate in 45 minutes of physical activity every day.
  • Train and supervise staff and volunteers in the physical education department.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure program areas are clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Conduct health and wellness programs quarterly, including healthy cooking, Passport to Manhood, SMART Girls, SMART Moves, and Healthy Habits.
  • Submit Fit for Life schedules and conduct assessments with all Club members as required.
  • Oversee BGCGC intramural teams and prepare members for competition, emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and other trainings as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in youth development required; 3 years preferred.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
