The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is actively seeking Early Childhood Education Consultants. This is a part-time role with hours varying according to consulting demands. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

The CES Early Childhood Division offers a variety of services aimed at supporting educators and systems to enhance school readiness and foster positive outcomes for young children through engaging, developmentally suitable early learning experiences. Your Qualifications:

  • You possess a degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education; a Master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education.
  • You bring at least 3-5 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, or supervising educators.
  • You are skilled in developing innovative practices and strategies that respond to educator needs, new learning insights, and emerging state and federal initiatives.
  • You demonstrate strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate professional development opportunities (including workshops, courses, coaching, and mentoring) related to Early Childhood, Special Education, and inclusion, aligned with the MA High-Quality Professional Development Standards and informed by current research, for administrators, teachers, licensed educators, and paraprofessionals.
  • Consult with schools and districts on high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood education, inclusion, equity, and related topics.
  • Create and implement tailored training programs for administrators, specialists, paraprofessionals, and other groups.
  • Provide coaching, professional development, and additional support as needed.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential professional development consultants.
