Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention Program, REACH, in Hampshire/Franklin County, MA. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized services to families with children birth to age three who have, or are at risk for, developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of enrolled children to identify their unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote progress and compensate for needs in motor, sensory integration, and perceptual areas.
  • Educate parents/guardians and other team members about occupational therapy needs, provide parents with appropriate counsel, support, and advocacy training.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical and administrative records in accordance with federal and state regulations, and agency and program policies.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators, team leaders, and other providers to address parent/family issues and service coordination needs.
Requirements
  • Hold and maintain state and national licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Maintain current infant/adult CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Meet and maintain all health requirements under DPH standards.
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
  • Background working with young children at least 1 year.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Able to pass background screening.
