About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at UPMC.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care by interpreting cardiac rhythms and identifying normal and abnormal heartbeats.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate vital information to nursing staff in a timely manner.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Completion of Telemetry/Arrhythmia Course within 3 months of hire date.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
