Job Overview

About the Role

The Medical Telemetry Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient health problems, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Administer medications to patients, monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
Requirements
  • CURRENTLY LICENSED TO PRACTICE AS A REGISTERED NURSE BY STATE OF EMPLOYMENT OR HOLDS A MULTISTATE RN LICENSE THROUGH THE INTERSTATE NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT REQUIRED
  • BLS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ORIENTATION COMPLETION

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
