  • Key Responsibilities:

Job Title: Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team at the Garden City Regional Airport. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all people desiring to use customer or charter service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing Customers tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seats.
  • Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements.
  • Handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, accommodating Customers and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate.
  • Ensures FAA, Airline, and airport regulations are followed.
  • Enforces safety/security measures and protects sensitive zones.
  • Assists Customers with special needs, i.e., Customers who need assistance in boarding.
  • Brings Wheelchair passengers from ticket counter to gates and gates to baggage service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays.
  • Must be well groomed and physically fit.
  • Completely clean and search an aircraft.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986.

Job Title: Commissary Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissary Agent to join our team at the Garden City Regional Airport. As a Commissary Agent, you will be responsible for driving catering truck, safe loading and unloading of catering on and off the aircraft, equipment preparation, production, proportioning, stocking of in-flight catering carts and ordering supplies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates, i.e., ramp, commissary and aircraft cleaning activities.
  • Assist in service area as required and maintain storeroom facilities and equipment in a sanitary condition.
  • Perform aircraft interior cleaning as required.
  • Prepare all food and beverage carts according to specification for service in catering.
  • Maintain a very high level of quality and appearance of all food and misc products served.
  • Responsible for opening, restocking and closing duties during their shift.
  • Help maintain floors, walls, ceilings and equipment in a working and sanitary condition.
  • Assist in taking of inventories and in determining daily usage.
  • Rotate and date all products to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Be efficient and have speed in restocking carts.
  • Have an overall organized approach to allow a smooth operation.
  • Setup/display where applicable.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of carts from aircraft as required.
  • Operate ground equipment, including large box truck, tugs and belt loaders.
  • Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD and that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Follow safety regulations which include the proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items.
  • Able to communicate using a two-way radio.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.
