The Automotive Service Manager is a key member of our team at Sun Auto Tire and Service, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for managing, selling, and promoting all products and services offered by our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Promptly greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone, using our standardized customer service techniques.
- Listen to and thoroughly document customers' concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customers' service needs.
- Recommend services according to your level of knowledge and clearly communicate any additional recommendations from our automotive technicians to the customer.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating an understanding of the product and associated service requirements.
- Provide customers with accurate quotes that include cost and time of completion for the services approved by the customer.
- Follow up with customers throughout the day to ensure their satisfaction with our services.
- Operations and Administration:
- Track all new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.
- Conduct post-repair and declined services follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Professional appearance, ability to work in a process-driven environment, and valid driver's license (or obtain within 30 days of hire date).
- Work Schedule: Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.
