Northwell Health Physician Partners is actively seeking an Internal Medicine Physician with expertise in HIV to enhance our expanding HIV Program. This position involves delivering comprehensive medical care to individuals living with HIV, as well as managing a range of common and complex health conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in providing HIV prevention services, including PrEP and PEP, and will demonstrate clinical proficiency in diagnosing and treating patients with HIV and other infectious diseases. A background in grant writing is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a patient panel comprising individuals living with HIV and other patients requiring ongoing infectious disease management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and Health Educators.
  • Engage in academic activities with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University, contributing to the education and training of future healthcare providers.
  • Participate in collaborative research initiatives at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.

Compensation: The full-time clinical base salary at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. This salary range reflects a good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change.
