Chief Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer to join our team at Phoenix House. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and driving our human capital strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports our organization's mission and objectives.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-quality talent.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization, ensuring that policies, practices, and programs are inclusive and equitable.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment through effective employee relations strategies.
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies in a nonprofit or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
