About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Government Affairs Department in Bellevue, Washington. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our regulatory strategy and advocating for our interests before state Public Utilities Commissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in state regulatory proceedings relevant to T-Mobile's interests, with a particular focus on matters before state Public Utilities Commissions
  • Evaluate proposed regulatory, legislative and/or policy changes and develop materials to support advocacy efforts in various forums
  • Build and develop relationships with state regulators and organizations to represent T-Mobile's interests and positions
  • Advise business clients on the impact of proposed policy or regulatory changes on T-Mobile
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs colleagues, Legal team members and internal teams on various telecommunications and/or industry issues
  • Deliver easy-to-understand written and oral advice in a timely manner
Requirements
  • A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required
  • 7+ years as a practicing attorney with relevant government, in-house or law firm experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience with telecommunications law and policy, in particular FCC/State Public Utilities Commission experience preferred
