Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Data Engineering team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of client engagements, defining project scopes, creating project plans, and managing project kick-offs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements and manage project teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement data engineering solutions using Databricks and other cloud-based technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data analytics architectures.
- 4+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services organization.
- Proven ability to manage teams and provide feedback and career development.
- Experience leading successful migrations of complex data architectures from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, and other big data technologies.

The salary for this position for candidates in the United States is $135,000-$185,000, however, Lovelytics aims to bring in candidates in the middle of this determined band; salary determination is based on several different factors including but not limited to years of related experience, skills, and education.
