The CNC Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role within a CNC workshop.
They are tasked with the upkeep and sanitation of machinery on the production floor and in the storage area, ensuring readiness for upcoming production needs to support expanding departments and product offerings.

Key responsibilities of the Equipment Maintenance Specialist include adhering to a cleaning schedule established by the management team. The Specialist will primarily focus on all facets of cleaning the machinery to prepare it for operational use.

This role may involve utilizing basic hand tools to detach panels, components, motors, cabinets, and other machine parts.


Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and preparation of machines and equipment for production readiness.
  • Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Execute extensive cleaning operations and special projects as needed.
  • Alert management regarding any deficiencies or repair needs.
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Maintain and stock cleaning supplies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning agents and supplies.
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Integrity and capability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
