Job Summary:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist at Penn State Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team of imaging professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of standardized imaging procedures, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.
• Set up and adjust related equipment and devices, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures, including scan results and any relevant medical history.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognized Radiography Program or Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Program.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiography and MRI, or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
