Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing various systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC systems, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC systems, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems
  • Work closely with Plant Operations engineers and other staff to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility maintenance goals
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in four of the following systems/equipment: electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC system, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment
  • 2 years of experience in a power plant setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework/training in a related field
  • 500 Horsepower LA steam license upon hire
  • EPA certification-Universal upon hire
  • 4 years of hospital experience
