Cybersecurity Risk Remediation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Discover. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure disciplined execution of Cyber initiatives and risk remediation efforts.
- Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
- Deliver metrics and performance reporting to enhance real-time risk decisions and initiative prioritization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional resources to drive progress toward cyber initiatives or risk remediation deliverables.
- Coordinate all exam management requests with program owners.
- Collect, review, and upload all artifacts submitted as evidence in advance of requested dates.
- Assist in compiling management corrective action plans for risk item closure.
- Perform due diligence and validation on identified risk findings.
- Bachelor's degree in information security, Information Technology, Analytics, Business Administration and Management or Project Management.
- 4+ years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Business, Analytics, Project Management or related.
- In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Business, Analytics, Project Management or related.
- Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of Proficient on the Dreyfus Cyber engineering scale.

- Primarily remain in a stationary position.

- Familiarity with API implementation and architecture.
- OWASP API Top Ten vulnerabilities.
- API Security identification and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management workflow.
