Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager 2 to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a leader in the field of software development, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers and overseeing the development of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the development of software systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and implement software development processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 9 years of related professional or military experience, including a background in software development.
  • Current active Secret DoD Security clearance.
  • Ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working in a DevOps culture with continuous integration/continuous deliveries.
  • Lead or management experience in a team environment.

  • Competitive salary range: $131,200 - $196,800.
