Position Summary: The New Home Consultant is responsible for driving home sales by showcasing product features, designs, and advantages to prospective buyers. This role involves utilizing effective sales strategies, adhering to company policies, and leveraging knowledge of assigned communities to meet organizational objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales generation through the use of corporate marketing resources, model homes, and local realtor partnerships. Conduct community tours and promote the neighborhood through participation in local events.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for home buyers from the initial consultation through to closing, adapting the approach as needed throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct tours and demonstrate model homes to potential buyers.
  • Generate enthusiasm by accurately identifying the needs of home buyers and presenting tailored solutions.

  • Research and analyze competitor offerings within the same geographical areas.
  • Engage with realtors to foster relationships and generate leads.

  • Ensure a smooth home building experience by proactively communicating with buyers throughout the construction process and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Oversee community appearance and maintenance by regularly inspecting the neighborhood.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to address any issues related to home status.
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively, ensuring fair treatment and clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Utilize company systems for efficient information flow and record-keeping.
  • Provide guidance and support to associates to ensure high standards of customer service.

Qualifications:

All New Home Consultants are required to have a personal cell phone for business communication and adhere to company guidelines regarding customer interactions.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent training from a two-year college or technical school, combined with relevant coursework in sales and marketing, and one to five years of related experience.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical and evaluative skills related to sales techniques and buyer concerns. Self-motivated with a customer-focused attitude, excellent negotiation abilities, and attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with diverse individuals.

Licensure may be required as per company policies and state regulations to support sales and homebuilding activities.
