Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Residential Development Accountant Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for a portfolio of residential development properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations for the Property Development and Management Teams
  • Perform property accounting functions, including detailed review of internal and external property managers' work
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in property development and operations accounting
  • Proficiency with Yardi preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to learn employer-specific web-based software programs
  • Supervisory experience and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 - $140,000 per year, as well as major medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and statutory sick pay where required. We also provide opportunities for career growth and professional development.
