About the Role

The Charlotte Hornets are looking for a highly motivated Statistical Researcher to join their sports analytics department. As a Statistical Researcher, you will be responsible for developing and applying statistical models to analyze player and team performance, as well as identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing statistical models to analyze player and team performance
  • Analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with coaches and front office staff to develop data-driven strategies
  • Maintaining and improving existing data processes and user interfaces

We offer a competitive salary of $110,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
