Job Summary:

AGC Iowa is seeking an experienced Bridge & Structures Supervisor to provide direct in-field supervision of a Bridge & Structures Crew working on all phases of Heavy Highway/Civil Concrete Structure and or various other related construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to the Bridge & Structures Crew to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Maintain and improve upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under their direction and control.
  • Act as the front-line Safety Officer for the site/project, ensuring the safety of the crew and adhering to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project performance and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil/Structures Construction.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted construction specifications, means, and methods.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience with cranes, heavy machinery, basic survey equipment, and other industry standard equipment.
