Job Title: Senior Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Sasaki Associates. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of high-quality marketing materials for our campus sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services and expertise in the campus sector.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Marketing Manager and coordinator team to create and distribute marketing materials, including proposals, qualifications documents, brochures, and interview materials.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of Sasaki's presence at conferences and networking events for the campus market.
  • Contribute to strategy discussions with principals and senior staff on business development efforts tracked in our CRM system.
  • Lead research initiatives on potential clients and competitors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume AEC firm producing multiple submissions at a time.
  • Demonstrated expertise in communicating strengths of a company with a large and complex portfolio of work, especially through the RFP/RFQ process.
  • Interest in the environment and urbanism; you will become a subject matter expert quickly and continue to deepen your industry knowledge over time.
  • Extremely strong InDesign skills working within a branded template is required.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching peers.
  • Experience and comfort communicating with senior firm leaders.
  • Strong copy editing and experience reviewing documents for adherence to brand standards and grammar/spelling.
  • Must-have attributes include the ability to be a true team player and jump in where needed, ability to calmly juggle multiple submissions and overlapping priorities, comfort in ambiguity, and strong attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience using a CRM program or managing a database of project information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Experience working within the campus market at a design firm.
  • OpenAsset, Deltek, Salesforce experience.
  • Sasaki uses Chicago Style--working in this previously is a plus.
  • Previous attendance/planning experience at industry conferences or events.
  • Proven experience working independently, ability to seek out answers to complex problems, and ask the right questions.
