Job Summary

Orange EV LLC is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through efficient plant and process design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization
    • Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process, resulting in improved efficiency, cost savings, and quality enhancements.
    • Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
  • Team Leadership
    • Set goals for yourself and team members, and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure project completion and team success.
    • Lead a team responsible for the design and implementation of processes to ensure improvement in efficiency, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop innovative solutions to complex manufacturing problems, leveraging expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, KPIs, Time studies, and other manufacturing improvement and reporting systems.
    • Evaluate engineering designs for production and ensure that they meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop cost-effective and efficient production processes.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and present results in reports to stakeholders, including senior management and team members.
    • Provide suggestions during incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering or a related sub-field such as industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and with a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with computer and information technology, including Microsoft suite and AutoCAD and Inventor.
    • Thorough understanding of scientific and mathematical principles and basic manufacturing equipment and terminology.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Specialized industry-specific training in Lean manufacturing and 5S, Six sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
