Job Title: Continuous Improvement Analyst

Overview:

The Continuous Improvement Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes, tooling, and throughput improvements. This involves conducting time/motion studies, investigating and resolving daily manufacturing issues, improving machine and tool processes, and training associates. The ideal candidate will support the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations, driving efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Develop and track key performance indicators to assess ongoing improvements in performance and efficiency.
  • Manufacturing Process Improvement: Provide expertise in manufacturing process improvement and new process development, including support for maintenance personnel in troubleshooting equipment and process problems.
  • Standard Work Instructions and SOPs: Provide technical support for the creation of Standard Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma: Guide the use of common applications of principles such as Lean Manufacturing Process, Lean/Six Sigma, and other improvement processes to create efficiencies in plant manufacturing processes.
  • New Product Introduction: Support the introduction of new products, ensuring seamless integration into existing manufacturing processes.
  • Installation of New Manufacturing Processes and Equipment: Participate in the installation of new manufacturing processes and equipment, evaluating, selecting, and applying new technology and processes.
  • Machine and Process Uptime: Drive improvements in machine and process uptimes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Statistical Analysis: Use statistical analysis methods to evaluate test results and adjust processes as needed to meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
  • Industrial Setting Experience: Background in an industrial setting, preferably manufacturing and/or production.
  • Time/Motion Studies Experience: Experience conducting time/motion studies.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Background: Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Process background, New Product Introduction, Procedure Development, and Training Development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other related field.
