Patient Escort Service Aide Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Escort Service Aide Trainee to join our team at Penn State Health. As a Patient Escort Service Aide Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients and items to and from clinical units, diagnostic treatment, and testing areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care
  • Maintain established HMC policies and procedures
  • Assist with the movement of patients and items to and from clinical units
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BLS-Heartsaver certification required or must obtain within three weeks of hire
  • Basic computer skills preferred
