Cooper University Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Medicine Clinical Specialist to join our addiction medicine division. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician to provide expert clinical care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and contribute to the development of innovative treatment programs.

About Our Programs: Our addiction medicine division offers a range of programs, including inpatient and outpatient services, to address the complex needs of individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Our team works closely with patients, families, and community stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Clinical Care: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients struggling with substance use disorders;
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care;
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Board certified or board eligible in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry; MD or DO from an accredited institution; active medical license;
  • Clinical Skills: Innovative spirit in the clinical setting; superior teamwork with interdisciplinary collaborative approach; desire to work with underserved populations;
  • Preferred Qualifications: Completed fellowship in addiction medicine.

Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
