About the Role

As a skilled Mental Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality addiction therapy services to clients struggling with addictive and co-occurring disorders. Working closely with our dedicated team, you will conduct thorough assessments, lead group sessions, and develop tailored treatment plans to promote positive change and long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychoeducational programming using industry-recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive treatment documentation, including psychosocial assessments and admission paperwork.
  • Collaborate with referral sources, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Present cases at weekly treatment team meetings and participate in clinical supervision as scheduled.
Requirements

To succeed in this rewarding role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in addiction treatment, preferably with a focus on co-occurring disorders.
  • Active participation in the licensure process for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADAC) or similar credential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
