Academic Addiction Medicine Physician

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a dynamic and innovative Academic Addiction Medicine Physician to join our growing addiction medicine division. This esteemed position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the delivery of substance use disorder care in an urban underserved setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to lead our addiction medicine division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative clinical programs, educating students and healthcare professionals, and conducting research to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based addiction treatment programs
  • Provide medical leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary teams
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Pursue research opportunities to advance knowledge and best practices in addiction medicine
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Innovative spirit and passion for harm reduction
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with completed fellowship training in addiction medicine are highly preferred.

Estimated Salary

$250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
