Job Summary

The IT Project Senior Manager will accomplish results through the management of projects contributing to the goals and key results of the Functions Technology strategic book of work. This role requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the function and coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops detailed plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Interfaces with senior project staff and senior management teams regarding the status of projects.
  • Recommends and oversees process improvements.
  • Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and standards.
  • Provides expertise in the area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of project leadership.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a related technology or project/program role.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude in communicating with senior management.
  • Proven ability to work concurrent assignments and deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines.
  • Effective skills to influence and negotiate.
  • Financial Services or Banking Technology knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in Data Analysis, BI, and Tableau is an advantage.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
