We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Family Practice Unit at Fairview Park Hospital. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and department outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for examination, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing is required.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State in which you practice or must hold a Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Pediatric Life Support (PALS) is preferred.
- Previous hospital-setting Registered Nurse experience is preferred.
Fairview Park Hospital is a 175+ bed acute-care hospital serving the community with 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient surgery options, and rehabilitation therapy services. Our hospital provides specialized programs, including our Sleep Center at Fairview Park, the Same Day Surgery Center, the Heart Center at Fairview Park, and the Women's Imaging Center.
