The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist position is part of our accounting team. You will be responsible for processing customer accounts receivable payments, collection calls and credit requests. This is a hybrid position that requires a unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process cash and lockbox customer payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Make collection calls on past due accounts receivable to ensure timely payment
  • Process customer credit card payments and resolve any disputes that may arise
  • Review customer requests for credit limits and make recommendations to management
  • Perform daily reconciliation and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • Experience with accounts receivable and collections calls
  • Motivation and self-discipline to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
