Ericsson is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at the US 5G Smart Factory. As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating production equipment and producing boards for innovative 5G radios and basebands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving certifications on SMA machines and processes via in-house on-the-job training
  • Operating SMA equipment, including Solder Paste Printer, Automated Paste and Glue Dispenser, Pick and Place Machines, and Automated Optical Inspection Machines
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy and control in SMA Kanban
  • Checking machine readiness and conducting continuous monitoring of machine operations
  • Ensuring the right components are used in production
  • Performing basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and learning sessions
  • Cleaning SMA machines, tools, and equipment
  • Organizing work areas according to 5S principles
  • Promoting, understanding, and adhering to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in technology and manufacturing
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management and colleagues
  • Team-player, proactive, committed to providing high-quality work
  • Experience with complex processes and SMT/SMA production environments
  • Relevant technical education and computer literacy
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge precautions
  • Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
