Position Title: Senior Recruitment Strategist
Location: Baltimore, MD, US
Job Overview:
The Senior Recruitment Strategist plays a pivotal role within the Office of Talent Management and Human Resources, specifically within the Talent Acquisition team dedicated to Development and Alumni Relations. This position is primarily focused on identifying and attracting top-tier talent for both current and future vacancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to assess talent requirements and develop effective sourcing and evaluation methodologies.
- Enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience by thoroughly understanding expectations and fostering a supportive environment.
- Devise innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates through various channels, including job postings, internal databases, employee referrals, online job boards, and social media.
- Build and maintain a robust network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
- Evaluate and refine recruitment processes to improve effectiveness and service delivery.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews in alignment with defined position specifications.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey by maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement strategies that effectively market the organization to prospective applicants.
- Manage and prioritize recruitment searches in accordance with organizational goals.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach and sourcing efforts, providing regular updates on recruitment status.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of progressive recruitment experience. Proficiency in utilizing web resources, databases, Microsoft Office, and applicant tracking systems is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing and implementing various sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing both active and passive candidates for professional roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and best practices.
