Job Title: Forming Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forming Department Manager to join our team at Brentwood Industries, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the forming department, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Assign workers to machines to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate production records.
  • Oversee recycling and crate area maintenance.
  • Approve overtime hours and recommend measures to improve production methods.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate departmental activities.
  • Report machine malfunctions and work closely with scheduling to meet ship dates.
  • Perform employee evaluations and provide training and onboarding.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a college or technical school.
  • General knowledge of computers, specifically MS Word and Excel.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Excellent supervisory skills, ability to multitask, and make sound decisions.
