Position Overview

Halo Industries, Inc. is in search of a skilled Facilities Systems Engineer with expertise in semiconductor clean room environments.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the facilities and infrastructure linked to the company's wafer processing activities, ensuring optimal functionality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate health and safety risks associated with Halo's physical facilities and processing equipment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain systems for power, deionized water, and Clean Dry Air (CDA) to ensure their availability throughout the facility.
  • Assist in planning and supporting the layout and installation of equipment and associated support systems.
  • Evaluate and improve hazardous material handling and monitoring systems.
  • Ensure continuous access to essential utilities at processing stations for optimal performance.
  • Address product quality issues stemming from infrastructure performance inconsistencies.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies for all facilities and equipment.


The Facilities Systems Engineer will oversee Halo's internal maintenance personnel, as well as external contractors and service providers.

General Duties

  • Collect and analyze data, blueprints, and reports.
  • Define specifications for facilities and equipment.
  • Analyze project costs and prepare financial plans.
  • Design and supervise the implementation of facility expansions and system controls.
  • Assess operational systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Formulate processing plans and optimize resource distribution.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and activities for infrastructure and equipment.
  • Manage contractors engaged in maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Prepare compliance reports and documentation.
  • Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to meet project goals.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant facilities experience in a clean room setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of construction principles and building processes.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations and building codes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
