Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Post Silicon Validation Engineer to join our team at United Software Group. As a key member of our validation team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive validation plans for post-silicon testing of semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of semiconductor devices.
  • Develop and maintain test environments, including test benches and automation scripts.
  • Analyze and debug issues found during post-silicon validation testing, working closely with design and verification teams to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to develop and integrate validation tests into automated test frameworks.
  • Participate in silicon bring-up activities and provide support for initial validation testing.
  • Document validation procedures, test results, and issues encountered during testing.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in EE, ECE, CS or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of meaningful validation experience.
  • Exposure to design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB).
  • Background with lab equipment, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is helpful.
  • Expertise in Python and/or Perl.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability & desire to work as a standout colleague are a must.
