Job Summary

As a Silicon Correlation Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our CPU design implementation. You will work closely with our pre-silicon and post-silicon teams to analyze data, identify correlations, and optimize performance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of innovative engineers who are pushing the boundaries of technology.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze pre-silicon timing runs to comprehend margins and relate them to measured silicon parameters
- Work with post-silicon teams to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of design and methodology features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and root cause failing paths

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science)
- 10+ years of experience in chip design, with a focus on CPU implementation
- Strong understanding of static timing analysis (STA) and timing methodology
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python
- Ability to run spice simulations and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with device technology and spice models
- Familiarity with ATPG pattern framework
- Working knowledge of PNR tool flows
