The Role

We are seeking a Fellow to join the fastest growing business inside AMD, Datacenter GPU (MI Instinct) team, to serve as a Validation Architect supporting our mission to deliver world-class AI/ML/HPC products. Specifically, this role will drive the Post Silicon Validation test methodology & content by taking industry best practices, past program learning and collaboration with relevant teams to ensure our testing achieves the required quality for our enterprise class customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive validation & test plan strategy for the DC GPU products
  • Partner with key product architects (SW, HW, FW) to assess/develop test coverage
  • Collaborate with other Validation Technical Leads to review lessons learned and past program escapes to adjust methodology/test plans
  • Assist team during post silicon execution as needed to adjust test plans and drive debug when required
  • Work with various domains and debug teams to provide feedback to design for DFT/DFD needs to ensure future designs incorporate required features to support testing
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in post silicon validation
  • Experience driving validation or test methodologies
  • Experience leading silicon bring-up and post silicon testing
  • Experience in automation/infrastructure needs for Validation
  • Knowledgeable and adept at SOC/System level debug
  • Strong SOC & System understanding
  • Proven skills in influencing and collaboration to drive complex topics
  • Ability to work in matrix environment
  • Executive level written and verbal communication skills
Academic Credentials

Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
