About the Role:
The Sports Coordinator is a key member of the i9 Sports team, responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for players and coaches. This role involves building strong relationships with players, parents, and coaches, while ensuring the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions, focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
- Supervise the overall operation of designated sports on game day.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and solve problems.
- Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety.
- Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the season.
