Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the unit's mission to provide exceptional medical and emotional support to our residents and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical assessments, and documenting patient information
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or associate's degree
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland
  • AHA BLS CPR certification
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records

The Brain Health Unit is a 40-bed unit that provides specialized care to patients with medical and psych diagnoses. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and therapeutic environment that fosters growth and recovery.
