We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Coordinator to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a Staff Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient and family education in an outpatient setting, including diabetes education and medical nutrition therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the assigned department, including scheduling and communication with patients and providers.
- Maintain accreditation with the American Diabetes Association as a recognized center for diabetes education.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the DSME programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Certified Diabetes Education required within 1 year of hire or transfer into position.
- At least two years full-time clinical experience within the last five years in direct Diabetes patient care.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
