Position Summary
Bonneville Seattle is in search of a driven media sales professional to engage Mariners on Seattle Sports (KIRO AM). We are looking for someone enthusiastic about establishing and nurturing new business relationships with industry leaders, while offering innovative marketing solutions with a strong emphasis on digital integration to surpass revenue targets. As a Seattle Sports Marketing Executive, you will strive to achieve and exceed set new business and renewal revenue objectives, maintaining the highest professional standards and skills while managing and servicing Bonneville Seattle Media Group's accounts.
Note: Work configurations may vary based on business requirements and company discretion.
- This role is primarily remote, requiring regular attendance at weekly meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass individual quarterly and annual targets across legacy and digital media brands by developing new business, securing transactional deals, and expanding existing accounts while addressing clients' marketing needs with integrated solutions.
- Drive new business through a persistent focus on client development and strategic sourcing.
- Identify marketing revenue opportunities, create sales packages for broadcast and digital media, present to clients, and finalize sales.
- Design comprehensive marketing campaigns that deliver strong ROI for clients, utilizing both traditional radio and digital extensions.
- Actively engage with the CRM (Client Relationship Management) system.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance professional skills and understanding of new and evolving media.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in inside or outside sales preferred.
- Demonstrated success in a sales role, particularly in developing direct, new business relationships.
- Ability to proactively seek and cultivate new sponsorships in both broadcast and digital spaces, while growing existing accounts.
- Commitment to professional excellence and integrity, accompanied by a positive attitude and infectious enthusiasm.
- Proven ability to strategically prospect new business, overcome objections, and persistently pursue opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills to organize, interpret, and draw conclusions from statistical data.
- Flexibility to address unexpected challenges and perform unscheduled tasks.
- High proficiency with computers, software, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and handle confidential information.
- Assist clients with creative copy and campaign strategies.
- Familiarity with the advantages and limitations of various media types, including traditional and emerging digital platforms.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Effectively receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication.
- Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate office equipment and computers for extended periods.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged durations.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, demonstrating the ability to drive safely without exposing the company to liability risks.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $110,000, with additional bonus potential. This range encompasses multiple levels of this position.
Salary will be determined based on an evaluation of the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal and external benchmarks.
