Job Title: Human Factors Engineer I

Nemera Insight - R&D Department is seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Engineer I to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Human Factors Engineer I to provide human factors services to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will work with clients to plan, manage, and execute human factors activities, and contribute human factors expertise to the development process.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients to plan, manage, and execute human factors activities
  • Conduct user-focused risk identification and assessment activities
  • Work with consumers and designers to evaluate concepts and existing products for improvement opportunities
  • Develop and execute usability studies
  • Contribute human factors expertise to the development process
Requirements:
  • Minimum BS or BSE in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Psychology or extensive formal education in human factors related areas
  • 2+ years of experience preferred working in a human factors capacity within the medical device / healthcare sector
  • Experience conducting usability studies and hazard analysis of use-related hazards
  • Experience creating experience maps, site/app maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, wireframing tools, and image/video editing
