Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at PLS Financial Services, Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for processing new hire paperwork, maintaining and updating electronic employee records, and ensuring I-9 compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new hire paperwork and create employee records.
- Manage all organizational changes in the HR system, including salary, work location, status, and supervisor changes.
- Respond to general HR inquiries from internal customers.
- Monitor I-9 reports and take appropriate action.
- Serve as the point-of-contact for uniform program inquiries.
- Participate in HR projects and planning of events.
- Create reports, forms, and correspondence as needed.
- Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with an HRIS, preferably UKG.
- At least 2 years' experience in human resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
- Customer service-oriented.
- Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
- Detailed-oriented.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
