Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

A private healthcare company in West Fort Worth is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to provide credentialing services for a large, multi-specialty medical group. Responsibilities include completing hospital and insurance company applications, maintaining current licenses, malpractice insurance, malpractice claims information, CMEs, references, and verifying hospital participation. The ideal candidate will work closely with hospitals and insurance companies regarding provider participation.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, ICD 10 and CPT coding, HCPS codes, insurance processes, and computer literacy
  • Familiarity with TSCA, CAQH, case logs, and CMEs
  • At least two years of experience in a physician's office or medical billing office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs
