Credentialing Coordinator Job Description

Serenity Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Credentialing Coordinator to support our team in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate credentialing of newly hired and established physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Process credentialing applications for new and established providers, involving detailed review of documents and data.
  • Oversee the collection of primary source verification for all providers.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports of the credentialing process.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, time delays, and other issues that could impact credentialing and onboarding.
  • Review applications, prepare verification letters, and maintain the provider enrollment database.
  • Frequently communicate with providers and medical office staff.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of provider credentialing experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Sense of urgency and desire to achieve top-line results.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering results within expected timelines.
