Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate all necessary equipment effectively.
  • Manage inventory by stocking ingredients from the delivery area to designated storage locations.
  • Prepare products according to company standards.
  • Handle and process customer orders via telephone.
  • Conduct inventory checks and complete related documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.

Training:
Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training will be provided.

Communication Skills:
Must possess the ability to understand and provide clear written instructions. Effective verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues to process orders both in person and over the phone.

Essential Skills:
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations is required. Candidates must be capable of making accurate monetary change. Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills are necessary for order processing. Hand-eye coordination is critical for performing tasks accurately and efficiently using a computer or touch screen.

Work Environment:
Exposure to:
Various weather conditions while performing outdoor tasks. In-store temperatures may vary from cool to warm, with sudden changes possible. Exposure to food odors, dust, and potential hazards such as sharp edges and moving machinery.

Sensory Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and maintain near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.

Temperament:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, handle stress, and meet quality control standards.

Physical Requirements:
Most tasks are performed while standing. Walking surfaces may include tile and linoleum. Team members may need to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate various work areas.

Driving and Delivery Tasks:
Deliver products within a specified area, which may involve navigating stairs and carrying items during delivery.

Hand Coordination:
Continuous use of hands is required for various tasks, including preparing food and handling equipment.

Equipment Utilization:
Familiarity with tools such as computers, telephones, and food preparation equipment is necessary.
